OVERVIEW
The firm will represent you and your co-workers in wage, hour, and other violations of basic labor and employment laws. Even large employers sometimes do not “have their act together,” and violate the law. As such it arguably follows that less sophisticated small and medium sized businesses are more susceptible to either intentionally “cut corners” and violate the employment law or to inadvertently do such. The Firm can provide the following services regarding your employment experience:
EMPLOYMENT LAW SERVICES
Wage and Hour violations
California law entitles you to certain rights regarding your employment. For example, if you work a full 8 hour shift you have certain rights to rest breaks and "lunch." Moreover, if you punch a time clock you are, for example, entitled to an overtime pay rate for the amount of time worked that exceeds the regular pay rate interval.
Workplace Harassment, Discrimination, and Wrongful Termination
If you have been sexually harassed or discriminated against or fired because you are pregnant, too old, or disabled, for example, give the firm a call. It is illegal under the Fair Employment & Housing Act (FEHA) for an employer to do so.
